Dragon Ball is a Japanese media franchise created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. The initial manga, written and illustrated by Toriyama, was first published in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 to 1995, with the 519 individual chapters collected into 42 tankōbon volumes by its publisher Shueisha.
Dragon Ball was originally inspired by the classical 16th-century Chinese novel Journey to the West, combined with elements of Hong Kong martial arts films. The series follows the adventures of protagonist Son Goku from his childhood through adulthood as he trains in martial arts. He spends his childhood far from civilization until he meets a teen girl named Bulma, who encourages him to join her quest in exploring the world in search of the seven orbs known as the Dragon Balls, which summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Along his journey, Goku makes several other friends, becomes a family man, discovers his alien heritage, and battles a wide variety of villains, many of whom also seek the Dragon Balls.

There Are No Female Super Saiyans Through the Dragon Ball Series.
There is a likelihood that many Dragon Ball female fans will be disappointed to take notice of no appearance of female super saiyans in the whole Dragon Ball series. When the situation comes to creator Akira Toriyama as a question, he has revealed this is not a sexism problem, but more in part as a result of his inability to understand how a female super saiyan would look like.
The author Akira Toriyama has also admitted that on the entire Dragon Ball Z there are no super female saiyans due to his fear that the women’s saiyans would be too similar to the men.

Goku and Gohan’s Voice Actor.
Like father, like son, both Goku and Gohan are voiced by a famous woman. In spite of both being male characters, it is a well-known Japanese actress, Masako Nozawa who voices them. Having fate with acting, her first debut took role as a child actor at the age of 3. After that, she slowed moved to voice roles and made her way to Dragon Ball Z anime.
Although it may sound surprising, the father-son pair of Goku and Gohan are not the only one to be voiced by Nozawa. Except for Raditz, every male member of Goku’s family is voiced by her.

The number of times that the Earth’s population has died is more than Krillin.
It seems to be a recurring joke among Dragon Ball fans that Krillin dies too much throughout the series, and he is only resurrected by a wish granted by summoning the dragon balls. Despite many times of his death among the Z Fighters, it is usually overlooked that the population of the Earth has died more times.
In Total, the Earth’s population has been killed in four different situations. In the whole Dragon Ball series, Goku has only killed two characters.
It may sound strange, but for all his fabulous powers and skills, our main protagonist Goku has only killed two people throughout the series. As one of the most skillful fighters and a main character, Goku takes part in a lot of quite extreme fights on his journey and regularly faces up with numerous evil characters.
